Wellesley Voices for Disability Faculty & Staff Ally Award
The Wellesley Voices for Disability Faculty & Staff Ally Award recognizes a faculty or staff member each semester who supports all students with compassion, sees beyond students’ physical limitations to cultivate intellectual potential, applies teaching concepts and methods that thoughtfully incorporate the personal and intellectual needs of differently-abled students, proposes courses that stimulates dialogue about physical abilities, and serves as a trusted ally and voice for differently-abled members of our community. Nominations are submitted by the Wellesley community. The selection is made by the Wellesley Voices for Disability Board. The recipient of the Faculty & Staff Ally Award will receive funds to support them in their own endeavors. The amount will vary based on the contributions we receive for this fund.
